Sadly, he never came to Broadway with one of his acclaimed Shakespeare performances but he was a complete force of nature on stage.  I absolutely loved his writing, too.  What a sad loss.

He was Falstaff in the RSC production of Henry IV, Part 2 that played at BAM in 2016. I’m so glad I got a chance to see him in that.
