I’ve seen the show before the pandemic , but my girlfriend never has. I got tickets on sale for the broadway week to bring her in February. Has anyone been to the show recently that can speak on how the audience has been? Hoping not as disrespectful as I’m reading they were when the okay first came back. I’m really hoping I don’t regret getting broadway week tickets, because I can image that brings a worse crowd. And has anyone sat in row C of the dress circle? How was it? Thanks!!

Cant speak to recently but I went to see it in December 2021 and it was the worst behaved audience I've ever attended, Your seat should be great though!

I attended a matinee this summer. The audience behaved and the show was fun. The adults were rushing to keep the shortened version going. But the young leads, James Romney and Brady Dalton Richards, were playing a sensitive love story. They did fine work and carried the show through the rough patches.

I saw it mid November and the only thing that bothered me was the damn candy wrappers for the entire show. Other than that, it was a great experience.

That's a nice view of two specific special effects, but it's otherwise rather far from the stage. The Lyric is a barn of a theatre and row A of the dress circle overhangs row Q of the orchestra, so you'll be about 2/3 of the depth of the theatre from most of the action.

It's only anecdotal, but in the numerous times I've seen the show, I've never experienced poor audience behavior. And I've seen it from all levels and price points. It shouldn't be an issue.

The seat should be fine...it is a bit far from the stage, but not any worse than the Broadway or the Gershwin, or even most touring houses

The worst audience I've experienced at that show was the audience during the first preview. Which was surprising, bc to get tickets you either had to wait for hours outside the theater the week before or pay scalper prices. It was unbelievable, talking and food unwrapping the entire show.
