A friend recommended this to me, listing off the plethora of Broadway talent in the cast. Has anyone watched the first season?

Not really — especially if adult animation comedies aren’t your thing. That being said the cast and their work is excellent and a few of the songs are great, even if there are too many sometimes. It’s worth a watch.

It's fun. Extremely R-rated. Lots of talent on the show.

I couldn't get into it, couldn't get through the first episode. For me, its not so much that its adult content, but that it seems like adult content = incessant vulgarity/language. I'm not a prude, and I don't mind f'bombs, etc - but this just felt like - this is what adults do right? They curse every chance they get. So, it's sophomoric adult content.
I keep thinking maybe I'll try again.....but naw. I'm ok.

I thought it was a fun diversion. The songs are above average and there’s some that are catchy. It’s fun seeing the theatre names lending their talents to this - and there are a lot!
The season gets stronger as it goes on and drops the focus on sophomoric humor pretty quickly. It goes some interesting places, theme wise. The aesthetics are very… tailored to Hot Topic. There are too many plot threads and characters to follow which leads to weird pacing, but the upshot is that the central characters become pretty well developed.
I’ll definitely keep watching.
