Needless to say, I'm elated about the "On the Twentieth Century" Actor's Fund concert scheduled for Sept. 26 in NYC. I won't be able to attend, but I'm tickled that it is being revived, if only as a one-night event. Casting hasn't been announced yet, so who do you all think should play the key roles?
I am not so sure about the Oscar role, though...it has to be an actor with the chops to be overly dramatic at times (I keep thinking of the Barrymore speeches and "suicide" scene).
Maybe Nathan Lane or an actor of that type?
