"I heard that the Wicked tour set is kinda dumbed down from the New York version. Is this true for the Chicago version too?"
There are only VERY little things that have changed with the set in Chicago. The biggest probably is that it doesn't extend pass the porcenium (sp?) like on Broadway. But besides that, it's an exact replica.
Also, you should be fine with your seats. The Oriental has AWESOME sightlines, so basically every seat is a good one.
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
