I've seen it.
Grease is not the word.
Not by a long shot.
Wanted to see it, but after reading people's reviews and seeing those production photos...yeah not really interested anymore.
Do a SEARCH. There are quite a few 'reviews' threads on this revival.
And no. GREASE is NOT the word, unfortunately.
Actually, the word of the day is AUGHT.

I beg to differ with the other reviews. I had a great time at Grease. It is fun and entertaining. The audience loves the show.
I am sure WBAF will put me on his shill list, but it isn't Shakespeare, it's Grease!
Lynnespock, you aren't spitting Grease-related catch phrases at us or saying "The excitment in the air was exciting" as other posters have. You're not a shill.

Damn! What does a girl have to do to get insulted here?
Just ask . . .
Lynnespock2, you are the ugliest poster I have ever seen.
And no, it is NOT the word. Or even a word.

Thanks NBT for the compliment. I know you saw me in my last production of Honk as the ugly duckling.....
Sarah8? I liked it although I seem to be in the minority on this thread.
Grease is the Word. It's a fabulous production, fresh and invigorating. Max and Laura are tremendous.

Max and Laura are tremendous
- From what has been said. Laura is anything BUT tremendeous in her 10 minutes of stage time.
Well it looks like Grease is NOT the word in London either. The show had its official opening last night and the critics were less than enthusiastic
Ive posted the UK reviews on the West End Board
"Grease is the Word. It's a fabulous production, fresh and invigorating. Max and Laura are tremendous."
Wrong. It's a terrible production, stale and lifeless. Max and Laura are awful.

Don't go!!
Some people DO like Grease!
I love Grease. But not inferior productions, which this one sounds to be.

It's fine. Very amateur, with some nice moments. Eh.
Who designed the wigs for this one? Please tell me it wasn't Paul Huntley.
Thanks for being honest guys! It sounds as though I'm not missing out on much, which I guess is good! Hopefully it gets better somehow!
