Per the box office -
99%, rush tickets will be available. Check back closer to when previews begin.

They were awful when THE PRODUCERS was in there.
I don't know how it will be with the GYPSY set and blocking.

I did Producers rush and was about 7th or 8th row all the way to the left and was absolutely fine.
Was able to see everything.

Posted: 2/3/08 at 11:51amFor The Producers though if you were all the way to house right the seats weren't so hot.
#10re: GYPSY Rush
Posted: 2/3/08 at 11:52amThat probably had more to do with the way the set was constructed than the actual seats themselves.

Posted: 2/3/08 at 11:53amWhen I saw The Producers I was in the first row, but to the extreme side. It was really bad, but I could deal with it. I hope they are better for Gypsy.

Posted: 2/3/08 at 12:04pmYes I am aware that it was more the set and the blocking than the actual seating.
#13re: GYPSY Rush
Posted: 2/3/08 at 12:37pmWell if this production is taking off from the City Center set, I don't think extreme left or right seating will be effected by set being in the way.
#14re: GYPSY Rush
Posted: 2/3/08 at 4:02pmI agree, logan0215. Everything was pretty center and I think the seats will be okay. I don't even care if they give us seats in the mezzanine. As long as I can see Patti the entire time.

Posted: 2/11/08 at 3:45amProducers partial view wasn't that bad. If you were in the first couple of rows, it might've been, but the farther back you were, the better your view was. I forgot which row I sat in, but I only missed minor things.

I went to the box office tonight and asked about rush tickets.
The last five rows of the Balcony are available for $27.00 per ticket, in advance, with a Student ID.
These seats will also be sold to the general public for regular price, so they are not all being set aside for students, so availability depends on whether or not the last five rows of the Balcony are filled for the performance you choose.

Posted: 2/29/08 at 9:00pmI saw this production from Guam when it was at City Center last year, so I think I'll shell out the money to sit in the orchestra this time around... if just to see that amazingly realistic lamb up close.
