re: 2008-2009 Encores season tickets

Aug 25, 2008 — 11:39:38 AM

If I remember correctly, when I saw Damn Yankees the plasma screen TV in the lobby said the Encores tickets go on sale September 5th. I know for a fact it was a early September date.

Insane prices for The Seagull

Jul 8, 2008 — 9:36:56 PM

http://www.telecharge.com/BehindTheCurtain.aspx?prodid=6737&mode=moreShowInfo I am most baffled by the balcony price. I mean, 41 dollars for the balcony. I remember when it was 20 for Doubt. I am just going to wait for an offer to come out and buy my tickets with that. I was going to buy balcony, but it's just a crazy price for all the way up there.

Meryl and Philip are excellent actors. Philip is one of the best actors of my generation and Meryl is my favorite actress of all time. Meryl is perfectly cast, but Philip is not.

Apr 9, 2008 — 10:47:50 PM

Linda Lavin is giving an absolutely hilarious performance in Paul Rudnick's new plays, "The New Century". The plays start off with a monologue hilariously performed by Linda Lavin that had the audience roaring with laughter. She was so brilliant with working the audience. It reminded me of when I saw Julie White in "The Little Dog Laughed". She had the audience in the palm of her hands. Sadly I cannot say the same for Peter Bartlett. He played his role very well, but the audience was terribly...
