I remember directing a production of "South Pacific." The young girl playing one of Emile de Becque's children invited the nuns from her Catholic school to the show. They were in the front row on opening night and every time Bloody Mary screamed "Stingy Bastards!" they all crossed themselves vigorously. The third time they did it, Bloody Mary couldn't get the words out as she and all the cast could see the nuns getting ready for another novena and it killed the show for at least two minutes while the cast practically peed their pants in laughter.
