I don't think this has been posted yet, but on June 3 AVE Q will play it's 2000th performance (according to Playbill.com).
It has become my favotire musical even over Les Miz and Phantom.
The tour is terrific, especially Princeton/Rod performer Rob McClure. Aside from wonderful puppeteering, he is a great singer/actor and really brings the puppets to life. Should be doing the Broadway version.

yes, I would love to attend this milestone performance of such a fantastic show. I think it too is one of my FAVORITE (or FAVOURITE) musicals.

Yes Rob McClure played Trekki on Broadway, but seeing the tour, he should have the lead - Princeton/Ron on Broadway. He is amazing in those parts.
Yes, good for them.
I just finished watching "Show Business" and chuckled about the critic's banter around the table saying that Avenue Q would not last.
