Hi just wondered what are peoples opinions on Jerry Springer the Opera act 2? Do you think it is wrong? Blasphemous? Or just a humourous and do not see why there were so many complaints? Thankyou.
as is the tv show -- they just blaspheme different things.
but unless you are one of those crazy people who thinks "the flintstones" is based on actual events, you will be able to see past the blasphemy (and even laugh at it sometimes), and enjoy JSTO for the absolutely brilliant piece of musical theatre it is.
It's all about excessive behavior, so Act II almost seems inevitable.

I went down to the Studio Theater in DC to see this show. I thought it was a much better idea than show. The performers in the production were first rate, but I have absolutely no memory about any of the music. That said, this production at Studio was good. But, I can see how one might be bored.
