when i saw the aforementioned 06-06-06 SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE signs all around Manhattan, i literally thought it was some religious thing i didn't know about.

I dunno if I am gonna end up doing anything on my birthday. The "Angels and Demons" party idea fell through since a lot of my friends will be working (and I will be working that evening too)....sad day.

I totally didn't even realize they were movie posters and just assumed they were some kind of religious propoganda warning us all about the Antichrist...and I kind of wish that was the case because it amuses me far more than a remake of a movie that really didn't need to be re-made.

Although according to the woman that I'm ALWAYS stuck in the same subway car as, Jesus is coming "pretty soon". I love the specific-ness of that.

Shouldn't it all be over at midnight? I'd hate to get up early and go into work just to have it happen there. When the end comes, I want to be home with the BF and pooch.

My students asked several questions about this today. One kid asked what will happen tomorrow. I responded that on 06/06/06 everone in the world will awaken looking like Whoopie Goldburg.

I just heard that a friend of mine in England went into labour about two hours ago - they're expecting a girl, but you never know...she could wind up with baby Damien after all. :)

Apparently, the original translation was wrong, and the Devil's number is 616, so the Anti-Christ would have been conceived last Thursday.
