For those who don't know me, let me just tell you that I am as passionate about film as I am about theatre. I am the biggest movie fan I know.
Just curious... what are YOUR favorite films? If you wanna talk cinema, please write your top 10. Maybe some interesting discussions will come out of this.

1. Clue (all time fav.)
2. The Wizard of Oz (even though this movie was completely butchered in the editing room, I still love it. Who doesn't?)
3. Gods and Monsters (favorite scene: "You're a dirty old man.")
4. The Phantom of the Opera (silent version)
5. Titanic (1997)
6. Sunset Boulevard
7. Ghost (this is my mom's favorite movie ever!)
8. X-Men 2: X-Men United... (don't judge me!)
9. Johns (I never thought in a million years I'd find David Arket attractive....)
10. and all three Austin Powers movies. Mike Myers is a God. He makes 54 watchable. Well, okay Ryan Phillipie's ass makes 54 watchable but Mike was snubed an oscar nod.

And btw, I'm the biggest movie buff I know....so it'll be nice to strike up a conversation.(Even though I hated "Requiem for a Dream" with a PASSION).

I really did try, I couldnt think of one that i liked better than the ones mentioned. Now if I could name another 90 it might be a wee bit easier. (tee hee)

DUH - of course the Hayley Mills version!! It has Maureen O'Hara in it, after all.
I HATED "Requiem" because of the way it was cut, mainly. I couldn't stomach the ending, either - I was literally speechless for an hour!! Not kidding. But, I do agree that Ellen B. gave an AMAZING performance in it and she was robbed of the Oscar that year.
