Have patience. This blog is being inundated with hits and it's loading very slowly. But it's very funny.

Posted: 10/18/07 at 2:57pmIt cracked me up to hear how the model who worked for the store copped an attitude with the first two guys (who were supposedly more chiseled than he was).

Hah, that was great. I'm definitely going to visit that site more often.

God, it's from too many years running retail stores I know, but crap like this never amuses me. The poor $6.15 an hour store employees have to figure out what's going on an no matter how they react the perpetrators hoot with laughter: "They thought it was funny! CAN YOU F*CKING BELIEVE THAT?" to "They thought we were robbing the place! CAN YOU F*CKING BELIEVE THAT?"
It makes me want to go to their comedy club while they are performing and rant at them for their anti-Italian biases. Or some surreal and not particularly funny thing.

Posted: 10/19/07 at 11:50amI agree, Joe. Obnoxious and not funny at all. And they were complaining that security was being too rough on them? Hello! More than a hundred people are being disruptive in a relatively small store, and security doesn't have any idea what's going on. Why is it funny to harass minimum wage employees?

Yes, DayDreamer.
I haven't checked that site in so long...when I saw the subject I knew it had to be Improv Everywhere.

Posted: 10/19/07 at 12:11pmI was just grabbing something that a heckler wouldn't normally shout out- I have friends who say that they have plenty of ways to deal with the "usual" heckles but that it really stops them in their tracks when someone throws out something completely off-the-wall. Hence, if you want to disrupt a stand up comic accuse them of being biased against Italians, yell out that they killed your dog, that they take too long at the urinal- anything outside the regular "You're not funny, I slept with your girlfriend, etc."

Posted: 10/19/07 at 12:17pmThey weren't harrassing - they were shopping. And, it was funny, especially taking in the hypocrisy. They were only shirtless - whats the big deal? And if I was one of the workers, I would have loved it.

Posted: 10/19/07 at 3:46pmGreat video. Has anyone ever tried to get help or what is know as "customer service" in A&F. Terrible. They obviously hire people for their looks...duh, but it would be nice if many of them had a brain to go with them. I'm all for an attractive model, but I can't deal with the attitude. The store on 5th ave is so f'ing annoying.

Posted: 10/19/07 at 4:29pmAre the clothes that appealing that it's worth dealing with attitudinal salespeople? I'm just curious. I pretty sure I'm too old to be wearing their stuff anyway, and I don't think I've ever actually been in one.
