Yikes, he looks like her younger brother in this picture!
That is very disturbing...He looks like he could be 5 and that could be his mother who had him as a teen!
They look thrilled to be new parents...

The photo seems to be in a hospital. She is wearing a backpack after giving birth? My wife had three natural childbirths and never jumped up on the bed for a photo before leaving the hospital. This is a hoax!
If I saw the photo of the two of them, without the baby, there would have been a couple of thoughts in my head. First off, that she is a teenager and he is the five year old kid she is babysitting, or that he is her younger brother. They really make me sick for so many reasons.
Wow. Just, wow.
The baby's very cute, though.
This is so gross. When the child is 13 he'll be 26. That's just so weird.

It's obvious that these 2 are both outcasts in school. HIM: because he's 13 years old and only 4 feet tall. HER: well let's face it she's what you might call "un-cute". It's hard to say how each of them are developmentally speaking, because they could actually both be on the same plane. Although she is 15, she may have the mindset of a 12 year old.
Either way both sets of parents ought to be slapped in the face with a 2x4 for their obliviousness and cavalier attitudes toward child rearing.

I thought there couldn't be anything left in this crazy world to shock us until now. It would be one thing if the boy looked or sounded like a thirteen year old. I guess their next step is to put up a website and ask for donations. I'm sure they'll want a place of their own. (Just a little humour)

"whose voice has not yet broken"
Interesting tidbit for someone who supposedly just fathered a child.
It'll be even more wrong when the state is left to pick up the tab for raising the child.
And that girl will wake up one day and realise having a child has ruined her chance of ever becoming a Dior model

yeah, cause with that butter face that was something she was really planning on doing.
If you work in the public school system, you do not find this shocking.
Wrong. I do find it shocking. On so many levels.
I've seen this since I started teaching. When I taught seventh grade, it was nothing to have girls with children.
I've been teaching for 17 years. NEVER have had a 7th grader with a child. Or any other student. And I teach/direct through HS.
(But I'm sure enough of them were already sexually active. I prefer NOT to think about how many of them.)
I suppose the truly horrifying parts are:
How incredibly YOUNG he looks.
The difference in their ages.
A twelve and a fifteen year old shouldn't even be ACTUAL friends since they are so far apart emotionally, developementally, and in so many other ways.
I have always taught in inner-city schools. When I first started in seventh grade, I was shocked. After seeing it for a couple of years, I became used to it.

Ok, this may the wrong thing to say to this (which I saw on Yahoo this morning), but the first thing that I thought when I read it was this. If this story had been involving a boy of 15 and a girl of 13, that would be rape charges for the boy. If it had been two boys (obviously there wouldn't have been a baby), then the 15 year old would definitely have been charged and called sick and depraived. Because it's a 15 year old girl and a 13 year old boy, it's a worrying but not overly serious looking front page story.
Not saying it's right or wrong. It's just my view that the story shows inequality.
