Late August wouldn't work for the youngin' crowd because by then we're all off at college.

End of July / beginning of August seems ideal.

I'll take charge (I'm so butch!) and suggest Aug. 4 or Aug. 11 with a second to follow the flea market weekend. Of course, you know, if I'm in charge, I'm printing nametags.

It'll be fun!

They'll all contain the name of a Broadway character, and I'll stick them on each participant's back. Then, by asking his or her fellow picnic-goers yes or no questions, he or she will have to determine which character is on their back.

Other activities to be decided after I finish reading this "Have Fun at Your Baby Shower" book.

I nominate July 28th seeing as it is late July, key vacation time, a Saturday. 29th would work as well. Let's hear some opinions on this weekend in general for now and then if necessary, we can re-arrange with some more dates before setting anything.

Last July and the Mid August dates sound best to me. The one in July/August will probably be more locals anyway, because most out of towners will come in for the fleamarket in Sept then just a random weekend in summer. Either way, I'm down for both.
