Sorry if there is already a thread, didn't see it.
The Series is about to begin. Gotta say I love the use of the Star Wars music (oh FOX) though the themes should be switched. If any team ever represented the dark side it would be the overpaid corporate Yankees, and the Phillies totally embody the spirit of the Rebellion.
Here's looking to a GREAT World Series!
ps- GOOOO PHILLIES!!!

I moved back to Philly so we would win the world series. And we will.
Ok, so the first part isn't entirely true but, we WILL win.

Who else loved that catch Lee made?
It reminded me of the basket catch Willy made in the first Major League movie. When he came into the dugout the manager was all "Great catch but never do it again"

Posted: 10/28/09 at 11:30pmI'm telling you, look for the signs. They were there when the Sox won 5 years ago. For example, they won the Series for the first time in 86 years, and the last time they had gone that far was in '86.

He is spectacular.
Why all the empty seats?? You'd never, ever see that in Philadelphia. Even when the team was in last place, let alone the World Series. They call themselves fans?!

That was a harsh ass whupping, but I have to say that Cliff Lee was astonishing.
And he's not bad on the eyes either.

Every seat was filled/sold.
There are SO many places to eat, drink, watch in the new stadium that you don't have to actually be IN your seat to enjoy the game...
They call themselves fans because they are fans. Even if you couldn't see them from your TV.
