Ok, what did everyone think? I'm reserving judgment until the end of the second half tonight, but I'm enjoying it so far. I had to remind myself a few times that it's 24 and Jack can do anything...including not bleed profusely from torture wounds

Jack is the f'ing man. It says something about a show in which the hero bites a chunk out of someone's neck to kill him. Hmmmm...

But yeah, a HUGE amount of creative liberty has to be given to this show to make it work.

Let's keep Kim outta this season, though.

ahh, a lovely homage to keifer's lost boys years.

it's really interesting reading different 24 message boards and 24 threads on different blogs to see how many different scenarios and plots and ideas are bandied about.

i've read claims that tonight will have everything from a nuclear detonation in a major us city to tony rising from the grave as a bad guy.

bill and karen are gonna be way, way annoying with their lovey freaking dovey relationship. i think one or both of them's gonna have to get killed tonight to save us from the weepy relationship tripe that michelle and tony used to drag us through.

c'mon, it's the 2nd hour. tom's way too obviously bad to be really bad. it's like how the vp last year was so evil right off the bat and everyone was sure he was the font of all evil and he was like a total nothing.

what's the odds on whether baby boy palmer's sis gets raped in jail by a giant white lesbian named gretchen?

This season proves to be interesting with the introduction of Jack's father.

And I can't wait to see how they incorporate Logan and Martha.

And with the addition of Chad Lowe, both Lowe brothers will be gracing our TV screens this year.

Okay, Edgar, Tony, and Michelle was one thing, but this is a whole other story: this season had better be impressive because right now I'm tempted to not watch this show anymore.

I was crying for the last ten minutes of the episode.

haha I was still in a state of shock when I saw the preview for next week. I can't remember that. I was in tears for that whole last ten minutes. My roomate walked in the room and thought something terrible had happened to me.

Okay kids...I need some help.

While setting up my dvr to record Sunday and Monday nite, I didnt realize that it would put 24 at the bottom of the preference list (never had the issue before) and it DIDNT RECORD IT!

I am left with last night's ep. only.

My question, is there a place where I could download (legally) the premier? I cannot find it anywhere, but may not be seeing a link on Fox's site.

Please let me know if y'all can help a brother out.

In respect of Doodle, I won't spoil the ending...but Oh My God! Amazing. Between the surprise death and the um...big ending. I can't believe it's only hour four!

Wow - I just watched last night's episodes and - wow.

Agree with all the sentiments - saddened by the surprised death, and as for the bomb, well, holy crap!
