Yeah, you just knew the guard was going to buy the farm.
I wonder if Sutherland asked himself, while filming that scene, "Hmmmm...what's my motivation here?" The man was adjusting his cufflinks, for God's sake.

I have faith that this season will pick up soon. Just before Logan was revealed as a villian last year, I was bored. And it turned out to be a fantastic season.

Is still like this show, this season my fave is newbie Carlo Rota...but with each successive season, the tricks are becoming more and more obvious. We expect Jack to be caught by the consulate guards, otherwise it would be too easy...just like we used to be ready for his daughter to walk into trouble at the worst possible time (and for the 3rd time that day!)
And the previews always give away what's going to happen...why bother?! Jack is caught, but in the preview he's free...jeepers!

Anyone else LOVE last night's episode? Less Sandra/Walid, more Logan/Martha/AARON, please!
Rick Schroeder plays a real ass, though.

But, apparently an ass who gets the job done.
Do you think Logan is gone or will he suddenly revive next Monday? I was a little disppointed at how looney Martha was. Much further around the bend than I had expected.

True on Rick's character. Hopefully I'll like him soon! He IS the Ricker, after all.
I hope Logan pulls through. Gregory Itzin is too amazing to lose. Jean Smart was awesome...she's a looney tune, but I loved the emotions she went through.

Good episode last night. But if Martha is still on the unstable side, I'm surprised they let her have an apartment with knives and such. I mean, I wonder if she is still a threat to hersaelf in some ways?
On the flip side, perhaps she's been doing very well, and seeing Charles just made her flip.

**Spoilers**
They did make it seem that she was fine, even with the events of the day, to be left alone...and was thrown off the deep end when her ex showed up.
How obvious was the knife? Will she cut herself? OH good she put it down...oh no, another knife!!!
Stop with the damn fruit, Martha! Noone wants it!
Smart was terrific as always, but the stabbing was ridiculous. I'm just wondering how it will effect the show.
I bet they are putting Schroeder in to test the waters in case Sutherland wants a break from the character...Jack needs a sandwich and some sleep!

He could have some of Martha's kiwis! ^^
Seriously, in addition to that sandwich and a nap, Jack must have to go to the bathroom. I don't think he's had a p-break since his post-prison release s**t, shower & shave back in episode 1.
RickY Schroeder looks weird to me. I think it may have to do with the fact that his faced has aged quite a bit, yet his hairstyle is still Silver Spoons all the way. Creeps me out a bit.

I was going to say that too, Peach...but it didnt go with the flow.
Perhaps Jack got hooked on catheters in the Chinese prison.

It was just announced that "24" is officially shelved until January 2009. Bah!
Not very promising after such a lousy season last year.

Well, at least they'll have time to come up with a better storyline than the one they were working on.
****POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT****
They were setting the new season in D.C. with Jack being investigated by the FBI. Lot's of talk and intrigue for the first few episodes, not much action. Surely they can do better.

Booooo - this sucks.
They may be back next year - but by that time, I won't care.
