I paced around my house the whole time during commercials. I need to know how Tony is going to end up.

MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW

Boy I was bitter at the first commercial break. I was pacing my apartment yelling "No they did NOT just kill off three of my favorite characters in the first 15 minutes." I was cursing the writers up and down. I felt a little better once I realized Tony was not totally out of the game yet.

Still Grrrr. I'm especially upset about Palmer.

Yes, they said Michelle was dead and Tony was critical. He's being operated on...

I actually said to myself today "Please just dont kill of Michelle and Tony" and now I'm going to be depressed. This is so wrong. I should not be as in love with a show as I am with this one.

I agree it is so wrong...I mean, after all they've been through. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch the old seasons again now, just because I'll be thinking that it's all for nothing...

Of course, I'm making way too big a deal about it, but I feel like you guys understand

And PRESIDENT LOGAN SUCKS!

Well, the promos were right; I couldn't believe the first 10 minutes. I am so sad about Palmer. I thought Dennis Haysbert should have won the Best Supporting Actor award every single year. The man is brilliant.

Never a huge Michelle fan, but I love Tony and I'm sad.

I just love that this is the only show on television that keeps me on the edge of my seat for every single episode.

Jack is the man.

BTW, was is coincidence that Derek looks like the male version of Kim? Is that what triggered Jack's parental instinct?

Hard to believe that Kiefer is a grandfather. Sorta (step-grandfather).

I didnt notice that he looked like Chloe but I did notice that he had the reddest lips in the world in certain scenes.

We were joking last night that Derrick is the new Kim - he doesn't really contribute much, and keeps ending up in situations where he shouldn't be because of his own stupidity. Although he hasn't screwed anything up yet, and he does seem a bit more noble than Kim.

Last night was crazy. Logan's in on something. All he cares abotu is his PR machine. What an idiot.

And from tonight's previews, Walt, the White House guy is in on something!

This show is edge of your seat, biting the nails every episode. I love it!

Especially the last few seconds with the "squares" of what's happening to the different characters (in real time).

beep...beep...beep...beep...BEEEP!

I hate the fact that they brought back certain characters only to have them killed off. I'm a huge tony and michelle fan and the fact that they made me so excited when it went to their storyline, only to have Michelle die, i was appalled.
I really can't stand Edgar, i hate him even more after last night. I do enjoy curtis; he should get some more story this year.

Well, we know things are not as they often seem on this show. Maybe Michelle is not dead, we just THINK she's dead. Unlike with Palmer, we didn't see the cops at her scene, or a body adter the fact...

BTW, when Jack saw Palmer's corpe, they did a close-up of his hand. Was it just me or did it look like Palmer had scars on his wrist? Maybe I'm blanking on part of the storyline...

Well, he had a scar on his hand from one of the assassination attempts (I love Mandy!), but I thought that was on his palm. Maybe it spread?

How could Walt NOT be in on something? He's the one who ordered Jack killed at the end of last season. He's the last person who's going to be happy about how it turned out.

Hmm, I dunno etoile. Might be too early to tell. But certainly off to a great start.

And can I just say that I totally called "flank 2" meaning terrorists are telling me to say this!

I think after seeing one sixth of the season you can get a good feel for the writing in the remaining episodes. At least Jack isn't shooting up this season. And yes, things can get a little incredulous. This is television. You would never forget a distress signal no matter how outdated it is.

Oh don't get me wrong, I think it's great. And it does look like it will only get better.

And this is totally a show where you have to go along with the incredulous. Doesn't bother me at all.

A fabulous four parter. I was so disappointed that Kiefer didn't win the Golden Globe last night. I happened to switch over during a commercial and saw him in his tux. So adorable.
