50 Cent Disagrees With Kanye West (about Bush)

NEW YORK - Rap feuds aren't usually about differing opinions on President Bush. However, that appears to be the case between 50 Cent and Kanye West.

50 says he disagrees with West's infamous statement that " George Bush doesn't care about black people," proclaimed during a September telethon for Hurricane Katrina victims.

"I think people responded to it the best way they can," 50 told ContactMusic.com. "What Kanye West was saying, I don't know where that came from."

Instead, 50 said, "The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God."

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

And thank heavens he did, because I've been losing sleep wondering what the brilliant mind behind "Candy Shop" thought of this whole situation. It was meant to happen. How zen of him.

And since now he's given his two cents on this, shall we change his name to 48 Cent?

please take special note of the last line of the article

"50 stars in the upcoming film "Get Rich or Die Tryin," a biopic of the rapper that is set to open Nov. 9"

oh,. calvin, what a good idea, we should charge celebrities for their asinine opinions, all of them!

More words of wisdom from 50

"I ain't into f----ts," 50 says in an interview in the April issue of Playboy, which hits stands Friday. "I don't like gay people around me, because I'm not comfortable with what their thoughts are. I'm not prejudiced. I just don't go with gay people and kick it — we don't have that much in common. I'd rather hang out with a straight dude. But women who like women, that's cool."

I understand 50 Cent. I mean...that's the reason I don't hang out with black people. Or should I use the 'n' word?

"The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God."

Tell that to the people who lost their homes and lost ones, a**hole.

Won't even go into the anti-gay comments.

This just cements my rather large dislike of him. I mean, what's he famous for? Burning money and getting shot. Now that's talent!

Yeah, apparently how the President reacts to a disaster is an act of God... Heh.
