I always find it hard to answer those "What if the shoe were on the other foot" questions, because it's often hard to imagine the scenario.
Like, would I object to two lesbian moms sending their kid to school wearing a "God Hates Straights" T-shirt? Sure. Can I actually imagine it? No.
But I'll answer for myself (not for Romantico, who I'm sure knows his own mind): if I were the principal and a kid came to school wearing a T-shirt that said--what? "Palin Sucked Her Way to the Nom"--would I deem it disruptive and request he change it? Yes.

Joe, I never interpreted the friendship statement that way but as I said, I'm in the middle of the two sides politically.
I thought it had something to do with a more lenient attitude towards terrorists and that we somehow deserved 9/11.

The kid in the video adds something about giving terrorists the right to a trial, too.
Ironically, it's the Bush family that has had long & historic ties to the Bin Ladens, making George Bush, literally, a friend of terrorist.

It does crack me up that the kid (or rather, his father) is protesting giving terrorists a right to a fair trial and now are bitching that they were treated UNFAIRLY over a t-shirt.
Democratic right to fair trial. Not cool.
Democratic right to wear ugly ass t-shirt in violation of dress code. God-given.
Makes sense.
it's frightening to think that if a voter doesn't do enough research on their own, and just listens to propaganda, that they may vote for the wrong person. And I'm sure this happens big time.

It's like some of you guys have never had a dress code. I guess any insolent teenager with a chip on their shoulder should be able to wear any violent, sexual, profane shirt they want too. Fashion Oppression of the Youth of America is an every day battle, you guys.
A lot of double standards here though. Can you imagine the uproar if the shirt said something ageist against McCain?
Of course not. B/c there wouldn't be any.
Yes. Because "LOLZ THAT DUDE IS OLD" is just as inflammatory as "THIS GUY APPROVES OF TERRORISM".
