Both have been mentioned, but Taylor and Michele on GG have both had me thinking about whether they were gay or not, more Taylor then Michele, but they've both had their moments.

oy with the poodles already!

If we're talking Lost, I personally thought Boone had the most potential to be a gay character......but now we'll never know. Of the current cast.....maybe Charlie, but I just don't see it in any of the other "castaways"...although, as jrb said, maybe someone is bi..

Michele on GG is ambiguous You notice when he talks about dating or wanting to keep himself attractive to otehr people, he never specifies male or female. The writers seem want to keep quessing, is he gay or severely metrosexual. Taylor Dose, on the other hand, is a big old queen. I think they make that pretty obvious.

Michele ALWAYS mentions women. Even in the first episode, Rory is asking Michele to read her French paper. She says, "I'll tell all the ladies what a stud you are." He says, "That memo has already been sent." Right or wrong, he always talks about the ladies. Taylor on the other hand...

Wasn't there a whole story line about Taylor and his girlfriend? Lulu....maybe? I remember she was supposed to be the girl in the founder's day pagent, and then got sick, and he filled in for her.

MIchele isn't ALWAYS mentioning women. Usually he will say he has a date but really hasn't mentioned if it is a female or a male. And that quote you pointed out was young, innocent Rory who may not have known better re: 6 TV Shows that Need a Gay Character. (Sorry I am a GG freak)

I agree with Grey's Anatomy though.

Oops...confusing my characters...sorry! Then, Taylor is the one who had the ice cream parlor? He's the busy body about town?

Michele agreed with her. And she's known him for years and years (she lived at the inn). She would know. But my point was that they made the point of doing that in the first episode because so many may have thought he would be. I think they were just clearing it up right away.

The problem with thinking there is no way that anyone on lost could be gay is that we still haven't met all the characters, there are a number that still just glorified extras, there are plenty of people still trapped on the island that could be big 'mos.

Steve Bartlestein? Wow. Didn't see that coming at all.

How about one show that should've always had a gay character--STAR TREK? Original Series, Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager? They always dabbled in the idea of same sex relationships, but always with a sci-fi slant. But never a character that was just plain ol' gay. Not that it had to be a plot point or anything, but to have one there would've been something amazing to see on such an influential show.

Can you imagine what some of the 60's sitcoms would have been like if there had been a gay character? A gay Gilligan?

Wasn't there a gay Gilligan on that "Real Gilligan's Island" show?

I think House needs one. I love the show to death but it can be so damn serious all the time! I think a gay caracter would help mellow Dr.House out a little.
