Even the Hiney family's lawyer admitted on the air that this was a hoax and the family will turn themselves in rather than be cuffed and taken away in front of the kids. Please.

I heard about that. I think we saw a replay of it in the hotel room at like 3:30am. But we had been drinking so I am not sure!! We kind of ignored it because we knew it was going to be constantly on the news here when we got home.

I heard local coverage lasted for something like 4 or 6 hours straight and I am sure it is far from over. It has been knocked down to the second "top" story today due to a fire in Estes park that destroyed a landmark Theater mall.

I can't believe I sat and watched it for almost 2 hours. As soon as the kid wasn't in the balloon, I was pretty sure it was a hoax.

We were leaving to go to the Liberace Museum (Which was a blast!) when it came on. I turned to my friend and said, "Trust me, this is going to take some kind of funky twist". And it did.

I put up a link to the video and you can see that the boy is sticking his finger down his own throat.

I think the whole family's screwed up.

My impression was that there is some serious hyperactivity going on... especially with Falcon. Seems to me there's a serious dark side to that household; one that I don't want to be watching.

Thanks Diva. Just watched it. This family is insane. Sometimes I wonder what is in the air up there in Fort Collins!! There are things that happen up there that you don't see on national tv.

To me, it looks like his middle finger is going down his throat.

And WHY wouldn't ANY of the other kids move away from him?! He just puked and everyone just sits there like it's no big deal.

I think Dad taught him how to make himself throw up.

It doesn't look to me like he's sticking a finger down his throat. He looks genuinely ill, and at first I think he's trying to keep it in by covering his mouth with both hands, but when he can't anymore he calls for his mom and when he throws up he attempts to catch it in his hand. I used to do that at that age, like it would make a difference, but I didn't wanna soil the floor.

Anyway, I think the brother next to him realizes what's gonna happen after Falcon asks for the cup. He's got the deer caught in the headlights look, and he tries to scoot to his right, but then we see there's another brother there with Mom on the end, and when she reaches out with the cup there's no escape.

It clearly looks like his finger is down his throat. And why, if they thought he was going to be sick, didn't his parents move him off camera. And the mom conveniently had something there for him to be sick in.

Well, to be fair - he had already thrown up in an earlier interview, so I think they had something there in case it happened again. I think the poor little guy was probably so tired and stressed out he couldn't help but get sick.

Didn't know that. Maybe they shouldn't have had him sitting in on anymore interviews. If it were my child, I would have had him resting or given him something for his stomach and had him lay down.
