Di, there's absolutely nothing to believe about your story.
Go sell crazy somewhere else.

Why, I can't possibly think of a better way to celebrate my 21st birthday!

re: 9/11 Par-TAY!!! WOO!!!!!!

I'm gonna do EVERYTHING in my power to be the first to register so I can take part in a celebration of freedom at (and not be turned away at the entrance to) the 2006 Walk. I can so not wait. I totally hope it's a good concert and I totally want to party to celebrate my freedom. TO PARTY!

Sigh! This topic lost so much once Di2 went back on her meds.

Rock on! When it hits Chicago, I'm gonna go the "achy Breaky Heart!"

"Boot Scoot Boogie for the troops, y'all!"

Hell, given how much boot boogie-ing I've done WITH a few troops, it's the least I can do!

Now, we KNOW the somber memorial crowd will be chanting "U-S-A" like the throngs at a World Wrestling Entertainment event, but will they be chanting "9-1-1" the same way?

I hope so. So we never forget.

Namo is that picture in your avatar from a Fellini movie?

re: 9/11 Par-TAY!!! WOO!!!!!!

So, if you have to register to walk, does that mean you are signing up for the draft?

Very dodgy.

Oh, and Di2, your point is lost on all of us when you do nothing but call us childish names. I would have thought that someone who has done what you have 'supposedly' done would be able to express themselves in a more adult tone.

And trust me, Windy City isn’t d!ckless, you are clueless.

re: 9/11 Par-TAY!!! WOO!!!!!!

My question is, will they be fencing off the entire length of the walk or do they really think they'll be able to control people who can't be bothered registering and those of us who might want to take the event off-message?

re: 9/11 Par-TAY!!! WOO!!!!!!

oh, and we should celebrate it, because it's such a happy day... how stupid.
it would be much more productive to instead of having a walk that has nothing to do with what happened on 9/11/01 to have people do things that would actually HELP the people fighting over-seas... like have everyone make a care package with things like gatorade powder and chapstick in it.

DI2 sent me this PM before blocking my PMs:

I don't wish to discuss any of this with you anymore.

Let it go.

I don't have to explain a thing to you.

I know what you are trying to do, prove that I know nothing about the situation. Are you Iraqi or something?

Whatever, friend.

Stop sending me private messages. I have a lot of feelings regarding this as I used to work at the WTC and don't like to talk about it much, alright? I have the right to my own feelings.

Just let it go.

re: 9/11 Par-TAY!!! WOO!!!!!!

DI2, your loss may have been painful, but killing Iraqis is not going to bring them back.

And those Iraqis they are killing had nothing to do with the attacks...

But you've shown you won't pay attention to reason, so I don't know why I bothered.

But this is disgusting. How could anyone have a party on 9/11?

re: 9/11 Par-TAY!!! WOO!!!!!!

Might I say that being a country fan, I am surprised that Clint Black would stoop down to Toby Keith's level in this.

Please, I hope you guys don't believe that all country artists are idiot's. Don't let these guys give bad examples of wonderful performers like Mindy Smith, Dolly Parton, Brian McComas or Chris Cagle...and even, yes, The Dixie Chicks. (Go Natalie!!!!!)
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

My guess is it's to boost morale, since the approval ratings for this war continue to go down the toilet. To which I say: "About f***ing time you noticed, America."

Justice I am so sorry. I know how helpless I feel with this war. I cannot imagine what you are going through having a member of your brother in the middle of all of this.

re: 9/11 Par-TAY!!! WOO!!!!!!

Thanks Chita.
I am terrified for him. He's been wanting this all his life, but the closer the day came, the more terrified he became. I got an email from him the other day saying that he's dodging bullets, but that's the norm, he says. He has a wife and a child. If something does happen to him, I will not be silent about it. Is it possible to sue the President of the united States?

The nice thing about country music is that it goes with everything: weddings, birthdays, memorial services...you name it.
