How many Family Guy fans are there on this board? I am so happy that because of the huge success of the DVD sales that they are bringing back Family Guy for new episodes in the Winter, I think. I'm excited! I'm up for quoting the show if anyone else is.

I FREAKIN' LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I have the DVDs and visit www.familyguyquotes.com every day for a laugh.
This show is truly a great, hilarious comedy and I can NOT get enough. The only show I actually watch the reruns of.
And I love it when they reference or make fun of musicals.
Stuey, Chris, and Meg did a rendition of "So Long, Farewell" from SOUND OF MUSIC and I LAUGHED MY ARSE OFF!!
they've also parodied the piano lesson in Music Man, it's great! Very clever humor.
They did a parody of Gypsy where Peter sings to the tune of "Everything's Coming Up Roses" to Meg when Chris goes off to be a famous artist. They also did lots of good stuff in the episode where Lois turns into a lounge singer in the basement.

i was just about to type about the GYPSY parody. I love Family Guy! I have 2 of the seasons at least on DVD... or my brother does, and i just watch them all the time.
It's hilarious. isn't it coming back to TV for new episodes soon?
You know, this show ALMOST makes me proud to be a Rhode Islander.
I said almost.
I love this job almost as much as I love taffy. And I'm a man who loves his taffy. Mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...
toooootally man. have you seen the my fair lady one? stuey tries to convert thier british neighbour todler into a lady, but all his dreams crash when she is being presented and breaks the accent by reverting back to british "i've gone and wet meself!" which, of course, leads to much laughter on this side. also worth noting is when stuey got into lois's make-up, applied the lipstick and looked in the mirror- "oh you're gooooorgeous!"
BEST CARTOON EVER!!!!
i loooooovvvvvveee this show soooo much!

I love, love, love Family Guy! My husband and I have bought all the 3 seasons on DVD. Too funny! Even my 3 year old loves them, which I am not sure is good or bad.
I am a huge "Family Guy" fan!! Chris hitting the high note in "So Long, Farewell" cracked me up. And I LOVE the piano lesson from "The Music Man." Hilarious!!
You are the worst thing to happen to musical theatre since Andrew lloyd Webber!!~Stewie

Aww....I like SEUSSICAL. Poor Ahrens and Flaherty. I can't believe it only got one Tony nomination.

I loved when Stewie was in musical theatre camp, and called his bitchy partner "Bebe No-worth". Updated On: 8/15/04 at 02:07 AM

I love this show. I love when they refer to musicals. Are the writers involved in Broadway at all?
I'm a Family Guy groupie, goin' on 3 years now. It's great that the funniest show on TV happens to have a musical theatre theme. The Broadway stuff is all Seth MacFarlane, the show's brilliant creator who proudly admits to being a "musical theatre nerd". I'm not sure if he's ever had any professional musical theatre work or if it's more of a hobby/interest but the man can sing! He's the voice of Brian, Peter, and Stewie so he gets almost all of the singing in the show.

I am a big Family Guy fan. Great show, lol. I started watching it on Fox from the first episode and now I have dear old Adult Swim on Cartoon Network and they also show it on TBS. I've got the DVDs as well. I can't wait to see new episodes but I hope they get all the voices to come back. What ever happened to the movie they were going to do? -Penny
its the most inteligent humor ive ever seen. My appreciation of that show fights with my dislike of potty humor.
