Love it.

Posted: 8/28/09 at 1:56pmI would have said that too. I've never heard of the word rake being used to describe an immoral pleasure-seeker. It would seem that the question was intentionally designed to deceive.

Posted: 8/28/09 at 1:58pmYeah, but I guess it's an educational experience. After seeing this video, now everyone in my Sunday school class calls each other 'rakes' as an insult...

There's a whole slew of ridiculous game show answers on youtube. Just search "Stupid Game Show Answers". . . my favorite is:
"What classification of animals are dinosaurs?"
"umm. . . . Plestisisterines!"

I saw that clip on the news with the story about the woman going after the press with a hoe. This prompted my mother to say "I will never agree with the fundamental right to bear arms, but I could get behind the right to bear hoes."
"People who like Sondheim enjoy cruelty."-LuvtheEmcee

Posted: 8/29/09 at 12:52pmI still think that my favorite and of course offensive one was from South Park when Randy Marsh was on Wheel Of Fortune and the category was "people who annoy you." The board read N-GGERS. Guess what letter he put in there in the blank space. Turns out that the answer was naggers.

Posted: 8/30/09 at 10:24am...or the Family Guy episode where Peter is watching Wheel of Fortune and says, "I can't believe I got MY HAIRY AUNT wrong!"
re: A Term for a Long-Handled Gardening Tool That Can Also Be Used for an I#14
Posted: 8/30/09 at 11:12amOr the Family Guy where Peter is watching Wheel and the board read "Go _uck yourself _ _." Peter looks at the screen and claims that he knows what it is. The answer of course is go tuck yourself in.

The Family Feud with "September" is a riot, if you've seen it.
My personal favorite stupid game show answer:
Name a yellow fruit: Orange.

Posted: 8/30/09 at 8:37pmI have many game show moments I could post. Did anyone ever see the recent one with the guy who guessed the exact price of his Showcase? It was an episode with Drew Carey.
