Just look at blAbba Rabid's post. The signature file is four times as long as the message. It would make sense that the moderators would want to curtail such wastes of bandwidth.

I explained why I thought they were unsightly, I made a suggestion, IN A PUBLIC THREAD (I didn't privately send a PM "behind anybody's backs") and apparently the moderators agreed with me.

Apparently they care about the aesthetics of their site and maybe they aren't interested in being yet another eyesore site with animated GIFs and scrolling sig files clamoring for attention.

It's so funny how people always reply "Don't look at them" as if you don't have to scroll past them and as if the motion isn't there to CATCH YOUR EYE.

It's not like the moderators just listen to things I suggest and do them. If that were true, a quarter of you would be banned, a quarter of you would have your very own children's board, and Abba (who, I SWEAR had recently said she had me on ignore so couldn't see what I was posting and that "BWW never looked so beautiful!) and Liam would be off on special needs boards somewhere.

Oops, she saw that, didn't she? If ONLY she followed through and did what she said.

How did Namo target a certain person? It was a blanketed request to whom it applied. I thought he was rabbit hunting while someone else seems to have felt it was a personal affront to him.

Secondly, I'm not a fan of blinky flashing marquee scrolling signatures either. Aside from making me dizzy, it unnecessarily slows down my laptop.

Thirdly, was this thread started because it's Abba wabbit season, or because Namo doesn't like Marquise's signature?

Either way, I've nothing against either poster, but those blinky flashy signatures made me think we were playing a round of Spot The Epileptic.

I don't see the bother? If you don't like them, and can't look away it still doesn't mean you ahve to read the sig. I say do what you want with your sig, it's an extension of your personality at the end of the day and if you want it bright, moving, colurful or even flashing... why not? Mine is static because the quote speaks for itself... and i don't know how to make it move or colourful :) Marquise... come back!
