Even though the quality of the writing and plot lines went down after the 1st season, they were getting better this past season. I will really miss this show. Much better than most stuff out there. And they are going to bring back Charlie's Angels in a new version. Won't be watching that.

"Betty Buckley dodged a bullet."

I am sure that was a bullet that Betty Buckley would have welcomed point blank to the head.

She lost 5 years of steady work on network television and all those residual checks from the years that it will surely be in syndication, plus the royalties from the dvd sales.

Plus, it's not like Betty Buckley willingly left the show. Sally Field was wonderful as Nora, she got her Emmy and even when the show was awful she was always able to show what a great actress she is. I honestly think Buckley is a terrible actress with a fantastic voice, I'd have hated her as Nora.

I just started catching up on my DVR yesterday. Saw the episode with Nora's mother dying. The end of that episode would have made for a good series finale had Kitty and Tommy been in it too. And maybe Rebecca returning but that would have been too tidy.

The Nora's mom dying episode aired here this week. I stopped watching at the beginning of this season and had no clue what was happening.

Now, as far as V is concerned, I am sad. It was a HUGE clusterf*ck, but I loved it. Storylines made no sense and they kept changing how things happened, but I just drank it up. When they killed Diana, I felt the stab in my heart. *tear*
