I'm trying...really...but I'm not convinced yet. She has an unnatural way of speaking that just seems forced. I dont know.

I also really liked the old Babe, and I liked that she had that hint of her mothers drawl.

Exactly. The two of them looked alike also. It was totally believable that they were mother and daughter.

This new one is ok (I'm finally getting used to that nose) but she's given Babe a different personality. This new Babe is so gullible and sugary sweet. The old one was so street wise. They seem to be ignoring her whole background with this new one.

yeah, but they do that whenever they change actors. I think it gives the writers somewhere new to go with the character. She's going to be the really sweet one to fill Annie's place when she turns evil...it's gonna happen...I can feel it!

I bothers me that the new Babe is so naive and do gooder sweet. Babe's character is tough girl street wise trailer trash. At least Crystal is the same.

It's funny, when I started watching again last year after a 20 year hiatus, Chrystal annoyed me...but Bobbie Eakes has really grown on me. Her country sayings were stupid to me, now I look forward to them.

Ritchie is gonna die, and he hasnt taken his shirt off yet!

Great news! I think. The original Greenlee is coming back next month! I read that they fired the new one as soon as Rebecca Budig came available. I kind of feel bad because I finally got used to this new Greenlee. I think she did an awfully good job of acting. Now I don't know if Budig can measure up!

Can't wait to find out!

I hadn't heard that. I've gotten used to the new one, too. I caught Rebecca on a CSI a couple weeks ago.

More returning characters-Angie and Jesse, YAY! (Darnell Williams and Debi Morgan). Even though Jesse's been dead for ages, so what? They're going to be back long term.

Even though I haven't watched yesterday, I decided to open the thread. Angie and dead Jesse?! Really? When?

And Kendall needs to start living a sedate life. Please, please, PLEASE stop giving her crying scenes. UGH!

Yep. I can't stand Kendall and her histrionics. It makes me cringe. She's a horrible actress when it comes to that.

I wanted to make sure you saw the episode when she slept with Aidan. Of course, she's going to be pregnant from that, right!

I just find her way over the top with some of these crying scenes. Normally, I don't have a problem with her.

Looking forward to seeing what happens with the Tad, Julia, Kathy/Kate storyline.

Oh, not nice, AMC, NOT NICE! I was just watching today's episode which I Tivod, and during a commercial break, they showed montages of the original Greenlee, and the voiceover announced, "The REAL Greenlee is coming back, etc."

That is not nice, and it reeks of some kind of vendetta.

I make no bones about disliking Kendal and the new Greenlee, but I agree that BOTH are at their worst when they are crying and screaming...ack!

And Kendal throwing herself on the sword? Ick!

Julia flirting with Jack? EWWW!
