The fact the thing that opened this Pandora's box was an article meant to be innocuous, and the insane overreaction by his staff, is truly hilarious. And appropriate.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
Interesting article in USA Today pointing out that it was real, old-fashioned investigative reporting--some of it with new technology--that brought him down.
And that reporter probably started his day thinking, 'Let's document some faggotry!'
I'm stunned that they didn't try to have the interior designer beard for him and be like, 'Oh...he's my boyfriend...he let me decorate his office.' I suppose the laughter would have been to hard to ignore.
When it was revealed that the interior designer was female, I thought for sure the story was about to veer into some serious bearding, but instead we got the married photographer!
"Ten years from now, whatever he's doing, he'll be successful at it. I promise you that. Two years from now, he'll be successful ... if he's not in jail"
I'm not sure who's in deeper denial of Schock's sexuality (not to mention his ethics): him or his father.
"Aaron is a little different. He wears stylish clothing, and yet he's not gay. And he's not married. And he's not running around with women. So everyone's throwing up their arms. They can't figure out Aaron so [they think] he must be crooked," he said.
I'm really starting to wonder about Schock. Maybe he isn't gay and just purely asexual, because if he's as bad at legally handling his political money, SURELY someone, somewhere, has compromising photos or texts to share.
