Posted: 6/29/12 at 1:53pmShe just released a comment on her blog I think it was: "Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx".

Posted: 6/29/12 at 2:04pmI know I'm from a different era and all, but isn't there something inherently conflicted about announcing your pregnancy and then asking for privacy...on your blog?

Posted: 6/29/12 at 2:09pmHonestly Addison I think celebrities have come to term that it's better to just announce to tone down some of the hype instead of having paparazzi chasing you all day hoping you spill it to them. Did that make sense?

Posted: 6/30/12 at 2:09amMark my words-her next CD will be about motherhood. How vile. Welcome to Celine-ville. We won't get another good CD until her baby daddy leaves her a single mom.

Bettyboy--I don't necessarily disagree, but there ARE examples of pop-stars making good art out of Motherhood. I thought "A Capella" was the first time Kelis really stretched herself--both musically and visually.
