The parents are publicity whores. With the naming of the children, the demand for the full name on the cake, and then running to the media when they don't get the cake they requested, it just reeks of attention-starved idiots. Seriously, they could have made their own cake inscribed with whatever the hell they wanted to say. Or buy a blank cake and scribbled their hateful crap on it themselves. Shame on the media for granting these bigots any press at all. It's the same with the Phelps klan.

Even better, according to the NY Post (lol yeah, i know) the same Shop-Rite also turned down their cake request *last year* too. And that request came along with dad asking for a swastika to be included in the decoration...

Karen Meleta, a spokeswoman for the chain, said the Campbells made a similar request last year - and it was denied then.

She said the dad previously asked for a swastika to be included in the decoration.

"We reserve the right not to print anything on the cake that we deem to be inappropriate," Meleta said. "We considered this inappropriate."

ok question, as I have no clue how this works- if you go to the photo gallery that has pics of all of these kids birth certificates, showing these are in fact their legal names, *all* of the birth certificates are dated June 24, 2008.

Does that mean that their names were changed *to* these names recently, and so these are new birth certificates that were issued in June 2008, with their new names?

I read a few months ago about a case in Australia about parents who were legally denied the right to name their child something ridiculous, I forget what it was. I'm wondering if this child's legal name is Adolph Hitler. Wouldn't that be a red flag for the county or social services?

The parents have had their fifteen minutes of fame and I'm sure in their sick minds they think this might bring some interviews and t.v. appearances. I really hope the media doesn't take this any further.

The good part of this is that it's going to come back to bite them.

Anakela, perhaps those were new copies? If you look at the bottom of each, they have "filed" dates and all of those vary.

The problem with red flagging a name like Adolph Hitler when a child is born is that it's still a speech issue. While I don't deny the name is incendiary, there are plenty of ill-named children born each year. Are we suggesting we need to be like ... -i s it some Scandinavian country I'm thinking of? - where children's names have to be approved by the government?

and that's the sad part! The children's LAST HOPE of a GOOD EDUCATION is shattered! and what kind of education ...these types of f*cktards parents would they TEACH their children! I'm scared.....

I am hoping the best for these poor children. Who knows? Jocelynn might end-up marrying an African-American lawyer, Jeannie might marry a successful Asian American Doctor and get herself a doctorate degree at Harvard University and the future Dean of College of Humanities at Harvard!

and as for Adolph..he might grow up gay..come out and meet a handsome openly-gay Jewish gay men (who is also a politician) and marry him and change his religion to Judaism....and might be our 1st openly gay President, of course Adolf will change his name to Abraham and the 1st man in the White House!
