SHUT UP OMG.

Seriously, though, I'm 19. That's pretty darn close to adulthood. Not to mention I'm living alone a (sort of large-ish) big city. And I'm of drinking age where I am.

You can't expect "the kids" to NOT come here, can you? I mean, you titled the thread "No teens allowed". If that's not incentive enough, I don't know what is.

OK, I know I'm going to get bashed for this, but here goes.

I completely understand why you all seem to be very prejudiced against teens and annoying posters. But the issue is: Why? We can't expect all people on this message board to be the same excact person. We can't all have the same interests as the OT posters do. And if this should be an adult message board, why not replace the OT message with "Adult board?" Just my two cents.

and there are many teens on here who post interesting and appropriate things. Bravo to them. And without them, it might be really boring around here

It was just proving a point in some ways.

The older teens- 18 and 19 year olds- are pretty good. The younger ones- 12 and 13- aren't too bad. It's those 14-17 year old teens that are the most obnoxious, from what I've gathered.

I gotta admit ... some of my friends (all adults) are worse then some of the people around here. I like a lot of the people I talk to on here - regardless of age. I actually find it a little amusing that I can have regular conversations with everyone - because in reality life doesn't change all that much when you become an adult.

Tsk, tsk. I really don't like ageism, even if I'm technically an "adult" by this thread's standards. Can't we just say "No obnoxious stupid people allowed"? That seems more to the point.

I'm with Plum. One of my very favorite posters is a teen, even though few people are actually aware of the fact. She hides her age so she isn't judged, which makes me sad. Either way, she's amazing.
