Post what you want...
Say what you want...
Do what you want...

Actually, that might (depending on what you want to post, say or do) get you into a bit of trouble with people. But hey, it's not like you actually know them!

lol, just kiddin around... don't be obnoxious.

And anywayz, it's a damn messageboard, like any other one, I don't think advice is needed. Or maybe I'm the only loser who has been an experienced messageboard poster for the past 5 years. (if not a bit more) lol.

There is also a student board where Big Bad Namo never ventures. It's something to consider.

JayKid--I'd hardly say that you're experienced. Think about it real hard...

Yes, but...no one else ventures there, either.

Yeah it just seems to me all the excitment is here..besides I'm through with students..almost done with high school! Then again it's off to college but still..it's very obnioxiously annoying to have converdations with little 14-year-olds :-P

I resent that! I'm 15!! Plus you have older friends you just like being dramatic..:-P

I second the resentment. You probably couldn't tell how old I am from the posts I write, and I won't say my age..just because i don't want people judging me by that.

as for advice to newbies: use search, dont start posting like a madman, use proper grammar, and don't start fights.

Spell correctly!

Spell with patience and care! (Sorry if I'm misquoting.)

I third the resentment. I have had sensible conversations on here with people three times my age. A lot of people have said they thought I was a lot older than I was.

Yeah, for my advice, don't start fights. You don't want to anger anyone. People hold grudges for a loooooong time on here.

All right you little strumpets and neophytes, wipe the snot off your little pug noses and get yourself to the student board until you grow some frickin pubic hair. Yes, I said snot. That's the green stuff that comes out of your head, the mucus the color of Elphaba. Who, by the way, is a CHARACTER, and not your best friend.

And BSoBW2, I got chunks of twerps like you in my STOOL.

M3L- Jesse was only kidding re: Advice to newbies? He likes to do that cause he knows it annoys me

Strumpets and neophytes..believe it or not for all the names I've been called I've never been called that..until now. I don't know what to feel..it's like..fire..burning in my eyes..

I have to ask though why there shouldn't be a lot of posting from a newbie? Just a question I didn't realize there was an issue with newbies posting the same thing numerous times..is that it?

Hi, I've been lurking around here on and off for a few months, so I decided I would finally post! Yay me!

So, I'm curious, what is "shill?" As far as I can tell it means something like a self-hype-er. Is that anywhere near right? Does it stand for something? How did it get started? Thanks for helping me out!

Sally I was kidding to everyone but you re: Advice to newbies? And you have been called a strumpet before. Trust me.

Behind- that's what I'm figuring "shill" meant as well...

A person engaged in covert advertising. The shill attempts to spread buzz by personally endorsing the product in public forums with the pretense of sincerity, when in fact he is being paid for his services.

AH! It makes sense now, thank you.

It's quality, not quantity. You're not going to gain anything more than a numerical status by posting 20 messages the first 20 minutes you're a member. In fact, all you'll do is piss everyone off.
