Affordable Furniture Places Near Midtown?

This weekend we moved into an amazing new place but sadly we lost our couch to a very sad ending and need a new one asap since while watching FOOD NETWORK STAR while sitting on the floor and eating take out was fun for a one time thing, it's not going to be happening again anytime soon.

So does anyone know of anyplace around midtown with affordable couches you can suggest?

Whenever we need furniture, we spend countless time and effort on shopping around, and we almost always end up buying at Bob's. They have a Manhattan store on East 117th. Not sure how easy it is for you to get to.

Not sure how cheap you're looking for but Huffman Koos has a store I think in Chelsea? I've usually been able to find something reasonable.

I bought a sofa from Raymour and Flannigan on-line. Very reasonable prices in their "Clearance" section and I'm very pleased with the sofa. They do add about $50 fr delivery, though. I felt it was worth it.
