And who wants to agree with either of those two blow hards?
"Rush Limbaugh says he was not calling for a riot in Denver during the Democratic National Convention — he only "dreams" of it, to the tune of "White Christmas." For a second day in a row today, the conservative talker discussed the potential for protests and power struggles at the August convention.
"Now, I am not inspiring or inciting riots. I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming of riots in Denver," he said mimicking the holiday tune.
On Wednesday, Limbaugh had been discussing comments by the Rev. Al Sharpton, who had warned of "trouble" at the convention if the nomination was wrested away from Barack Obama by superdelegates.
Rush Limbaugh's website touted the Denver broadcast with a headline that said "Screw the world! Riot in Denver!" (rushlimbaugh.com)"

Harrassment at the GOP convention is already in the planning stages.

They should be locked up together in a very small windowless cell.
If they riot in Denver they are saying "the only issue that mattered was that Obama is black".
Do they not realize what an insult that is to his qualifications?
Are women going to riot if Hillary doesn't get the nom? Or maybe they'll go all Lysistrata on the menfolk.
Someone needs to shut Sharpton up.

I want a one-way mirror so we can see in.

Sharpton is a disgrace. I hope he pulls a Lieberman on us and switches sides.

Supposedly Limbaugh has been urging Republicans in swing states to change party affiliations in order to vote for Hillary in the primaries. He wants to skew the vote and keep her campaign going in order to tear up the Democratic party from within and drain the Democratic candidates' financial resources.
Well, duh. There have been literally tens of thousands of GOPers voting for Lady C in the primaries.

"Rush Limbaugh has been urging conservatives to register as Democrats and vote for Clinton in order to prolong the primary and stoke Democratic rancor. How much of Clinton's 9.4 percent lead came from Limbaugh listeners? No telling.
In an e-mail, Limbaugh noted that one in 10 voters in the Pennsylvania Democratic primary was a newly registered Democrat. While Limbaugh noted that there is no way to tell how many crossovers were volunteers participating in his "Operation Chaos," he continued, "Ten percent of the vote? That's huge. That would be five times the past high for a crossover vote, and with a closed primary. And most did so in the last three days before the deadline, when I was really pushing it.""

Holy hell, but that man has an ego.
Could it possibly be that there were a lot of new people registering because it's the first time in recent history that the Pennysylvania presidential primary has mattered one whit?
And how many of those newly registered people voted for Obama?
What a windbag.

WITH sharp instruments......
(and without food)
democrats: combining the best of two of my favorite election years - '68 and '72.
I live not far from where they are putting all of the protesters in Denver for the convention. Right now, the plan is to put them all in Civic Center Park (Which sits between the City & County Buildinmg and the Capitol) in Downtown Denver. It is nowhere near the Pepsi Center where the convention is taking place. I work a block from Civic Center Park.
Good time for a summer vacation?
Let's face it, Democrats, Papa is right. Echoes of 68 and 72 are everywhere. This "everyone will unite once we have a nominee" sounds eerily like another worthless mantra, the GOP's "just trust us."
I think that unity is a possibility, but it is dependent upon the candidate that doesn't get the nomination to actively support the nominee. Hillary would have to work to convince her supporters not to go to McCain, and Obama would have to work to make sure his supporters don't stay home.
Yep--cause this Obama boy stays home.
Then those people were not true Democrats to begin with.
So, would you then say that Clinton supporters who don't vote for Obama, should he get the nom, are also not true Democrats?
i just hope that rage against the machine is the catalyst like the mc5 was in chi-town.
"and right now, right now, it's time to kick out the jams, muthaf*ckas!
yeah he would, he has. repeatedly. paljoey has consistently said that he would get behind whoever the nominee is on the democrats' side.
So, would you then say that Clinton supporters who don't vote for Obama, should he get the nom, are also not true Democrats?
YES! I've said that a million times and I've said I will support him if he is the nominee, with my vote, my time and my money, but that I don't think he has any chance of defeating McCain.
I wasn't questioning PJ himself. But if polls are saying that a fair % of Hillary supporters would either switch to McCain or stay home, does that mean that they are not true Dems?
Part of the unprecedented turnout for both candidates are voters who are committed to the candidate not the party: the "youth" on Obama's side and the "working-class whites" on Hillary's.
There's nothing bad or good, right or wrong about this. It is what it is. It's history.
But that is why MY formula provides 16+ years of Democrats in the White House: Clinton/Obama '08/'12 and Obama/Feingold '12/'16.
And I am very cross at Obama and his supporters for not seeing the inherent wisdom of the PalJoey Plan for 16+ Years.
I am smarter than Howard Dean and Donna Brazile and Nancy Pelosi PUT TOGETHER!
c'mon, pj, ya gotta aim a little higher than that triumverate.
