I'm not a newbie [because technically I was here a while ago - but left and came back]. Nor should I be treated like one because I pose a question about sabotaging a thread.

And what I am really wondering, my darling little etoile, is that if you were truly a fan of Mr. Cumming then why would you turn a thread about him getting married [i.e. something that's supposed to be joyous] into a battle.

Unless you're just a pathetic person and enjoy taking something happy and ruining it for everyone.

I bet she'll do it. Just watch. I've never read a post by her where she adds anything insightful. It's all snarky comments.

You're so much like Rath, S&M, always posting in so many threads. Yet no value added by most of them.

The thing is, EVEN IF what Rath really allegedly meant was that poor Alan (the sleazy little ho-bag) had to get married somewhere else rather than in his "adopted" country (whatever TF that means) which nobody could possibly come away with understanding from reading that first post without that explanation, the use of "sleazy little ho-bag" reads very derogatorily.

I personally consider myself a Big Sleazy Ho-Bag, as many of my nearest and dearest friends consider themselves to be as well, but that sort of label is ours to put on ourselves and if somebody else were to apply it derogatorily to a description about any of us, we would rush to the other's defense and call the person out on their crap.

When you consider the long-term context of almost three years of reading our conservative "gay woman"'s posts and her ambivalent and needy relationships with gay men that she plays out here and lord knows probably even more complicatedly in the real world, and you factor in her almost total lack of understanding of gay male sexuality and her tendency to look at it through a lens of shame and disease, well, it makes perfect sense that a fan of Cummings' would give her a stern talking to.

And Captain_Obvious, I would mention Zelda every time you post if I could remember the name as clearly as your entitlement issues.

Namo, do you have backers for the play you're writing based on the characters you so neatly tie us up to be here? Are you looking to start out at a small venue off-off Broadway, or will it be heading straight to the Great White Way?

Have you considered collaborating with a composer/lyricist team and fleshing it out as a musical? Perhaps Rob would allow you to try out some songs at Standing Ovations 5.
