I don't know if you're aware of this, but he was the original Emcee in the Sam Mendes revival of CABARET. Are you aware of his brilliant portrayal of that character? Made him into a bit of a sleazy hobag, if you wanted to be over-the-top and humorous about it. As was the portrayal.

I was playing on that. As this is a Broadway board and all. Didn't know I'd have to explain it until the cows came home to people who are supposedly intelligent, with witty and dark senses of humor. Oh, except etoile, of course.
