I loved Carrie last night. She has been my pick from the beginning. She was so fierce. I hate that my votes for her last night don't count. I guess I will have to do it again.
Nadia who is usually consistant was a mess. She sounded a mess and she looked a mess too. I thought she and Mikhala Gordon gave the weakest performances. Where did Mikhala get those extensions?
Is it just me or does one side of Paula's face appear to be paralyzed?

Paula: Suddenly, we see her hairline again, after seeing her face framed for weeks ... suggesting a littl healing time, no? And her eyes were pointed upward. She looked a bit like the drawing on the Oil Of Olay bottle, no? Or Yasmine in the cartoon.

Posted: 3/23/05 at 4:00pmDoes voting cost money? I thought it was free. Isn't it a toll-free telephone number they give out?

Posted: 3/23/05 at 4:06pmOh yes, I forgot about that. I never vote. Mostly, because I always watch it on TiVo, after the fact.

Posted: 3/23/05 at 4:07pmI'm sure that no one with Cingular would send a text message if it wasn't covered in their plans. That wouldn't make sense. You should just call then

IMPORTANT PROGRAM NOTE CHANGE
Due to an error with the graphics shown on-screen (incorrect voting numbers were displayed) during the performance recap at the end of last night's AMERICAN IDOL, a live, one-hour show will air tonight, Wednesday, March 29 9/8c on FOX, to enable a re-vote. This new show will combine new elements with encores of Tuesday's performances from the remaining 11 contestants.

I guess they just said tonight that Cingular customers who texteditedeedooed their vote gets reimbursed.
Question about a commercial during tonight's show. The new show "Stacked" with Pam Anderson. Is that Marissa Jaret Winokur in the quick promo with all of them? She's not credited in the cast, it seemed like her this last time I looked close.

Posted: 3/23/05 at 9:32pmYes, that's Winokur. Only a truely successful Tony winner can do a sitcom with Pamela Anderson. I can't wait to see how long that show lasts.

Bernadette's gotten her Leading Actress. Marissa won for work she broke ground in as a non traditional, physical type that she excelled in. In a Broadway starring role. I'd say it was more than fine and fair Marissa won that year.
(Off my stupid little threadjack box now, back to Idol here)

Okay Carrie and Jessica were the best female performers last evening. And Nikko and Bo were the best males. Also, I kind of liked Mikalah's performance. Perhaps it was just because I'm a fan of the song she sang. Unfortunately, I think her time is up.
Oh, and Nadia sucked. She's usually pretty damn good but she didn't deliver with that Lauper song.
PS: Yes, I'm still bitter about the Peters/Winokur Tony situation. So shoot me! ::laughs::

Posted: 3/23/05 at 10:05pmI really liked anthony before but now he's just trying too damn hard. He's getting to be quite annoying, which is sad, because he was good, and looks like Anthony Rapp. :)

Mikalah's t-shirt last night said it all:
'My job is to annoy you'

Anthony is my fave. Granted, I've been watching for two weeks now...so anyway.
Besides, he looks like my Broadway Baby Anthony Rapp! JOYS!
