It is a sad state of affairs on this year's Idol.
In tonight's two wasted hours, I did not see one person who has any business going any further in the contest. The "wedding ring lady" was marginal, at best. Constantine was all over the place.
And, while strangely attractive (at moments), I found it laughable that Mark McGrath was a talent judge.
Here's hoping the best is yet to come, and/or they are holding the footage of the greats to really surprise us later.
Laughter is much more important than applause. Applause is almost a duty. Laughter is a reward.
