Posted: 1/19/05 at 8:50pmI really liked her voice. I hope she gets at least to the top 12. And that guy had a good voice too but he made himself look big headed and it came across bad.

I actually thought that girl in the beginning, the one out of the triplets, was really good
and i wish they had shown more good ppl versus the bad...bad ppl are funny, but i like to be impressed as well

"Dirk" sang a David Hasselhoff song, and Randy said it was as good as David Hasselhoff - lol. I felt sorry for the last guy with the glasses (Adam), I thought he was cute.
The "Over the Rainbow" girl bit was funny. They tried to tell her that she can get a voiceover, and Randy suggested as a rat or something like that. And then Paula tries to make everything better by saying that it was difficult to get an agent to do voiceovers, or something like that.
No one has really impressed me over the past couple of days. I have a feeling this season is going to be as uninteresting as the last one. Seasons 1 and 2 were the best.

The voice teacher and student were kinda shady.
I got the feeling they were more than teacher-student.

Are you talking about the person who walked into the room rapping? I couldn't tell if it was a guy or a girl, either! And the big fake diamond earrings couldn't say much either.
At first, I thought it was a guy, but then "he" sang so high, that's when I became confused. Plus I thought Paula said something about "she..." I cannot believe they let that person through when there were a couple of people who had better voices who were rejected. Simon said it sounded like this person (Aa'sha, or something like that) was on helium.

The last girl of the first episode was hysterial, ir somewhat scary. Mary Roache, I think her name was. When they told her to go, she started talking about the voices in her head, and how she'll make it on Broadway, and such. That moment was aided by the fact that they added some Bernard Hermann music in the background.
I'm happy that the mother got in. She had a very good voice. I thought it was odd that they asked her husband to come in, but it was nice that he supports her.
