Brenna is outspoken like Mikaylah, but Mikalylah wasn't concetied and mean - I think that's why she was more tolerable. She was indeed confident, but Brenna is just over the top full of herself.

I thought most of the song choices were bleh last night. I still like my girl Paris - bad song choice, but I still like her. I missed Katharine's performance. Ayla has potential. Mandisa rocks the house.

Katharine's my favorite, so far, but I thought her song was bad.

Edit: Mikalyah cracked me up. Brenna makes me want to slap her.

This couldn't have been a more underwhelming show. Such a boy's year. I think Mandisa did the best, but I like Melissa a lot. Heather should be shot for attempting Mariah when she's proven she can't even hold the key of former Idols. And I want to retch every time Kellie's onscreen. That BTS slumber party with Katherine was just too much and gave Kellie even MORE pimp time, cause she doesn't have enough of THAT. Ugh.

I find Brenna slightly more tolerable than Mikalah, but they're both annoying as hell. I agree with pretty much everything cabarethed said, especially the Heather and Kellie comments.

Re: Brenna as comic relief, I get the feeling that the judges didn't necessarily go with the most talented girls who auditioned because they want a male winner this year, someone to win teenage girls' hearts and wallets (3 of the 4 winners thus far, including the winners from the 2 most recent seasons, were female, and the only male winner thus far has pretty much dropped off the radar). Otherwise, there's absolutely no justification for some of the female semifinalists making it this far (not that I think it's right for the judges to stack the deck in favor of one gender, but I'd prefer to think they did that than to think they picked people like Brenna, Becky, and Heather because they thought they were among the 12 best girls who auditioned)

Mikalah and Brenna are both annoying, however, I found Mikalah to be a nicer annoying and more confident. There's a difference in being confident and being full of yourself. Also, Brenna is 25, while Mikalah was only 17...this doesnt mean Mikalah should be immature, but she's still got that teenager quality...if that makes sense. Brenna is just a "beast" and someone needs to give that girl a b*tch slap.

So far, Taylor was underwhelming, Elliott was pretty good, Ace was awful, and it's killing me to admit that Gedeon was pretty damn good because I think he's a jackass.
