Carmen and Lauren.....the 18 year old brunette looks like she had an eye lift!!!!! Hot messes!
I want to beat the BFF's on the head with a shovel.
SKII - BO - SKY!!!! (that's my new catch phrase)
Great, now everytime I hear "My Cherie Amour" I'm going to think of that pompous Lamar guy.
Pants on the Ground
Pants on the Ground
Lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground.....
That pants song is so damn catchy! Simon was right, it could be a hit!
I don't know what that song is supposed to mean, but I take it to be making fun of the imbeciles who wear their pants around their knees. So I like it!
Jane, I'm pretty sure that's what it's supposed to mean. I think there was a line about gold teeth and sideways hats.
The BFF's wore me out. They had the same eye make-up. You know Lauren was pissed that Carmen went through and she didn't.
And crazy dude who had to be escorted out by security might be the best flip out in Idol history.
^ yeah, at one point he looked like he was crying through his singing. Sad actually.

I usually do not like the prelims, but this season seems to be well produced. The kid with the LA hat was my fav last night. And, how many psycho people are out there thinking they will be the next Idol??
I don't buy that ALL the looneys are real. Yeah, that guy last night was real, but a lot of those locos are there for the 15 minutes.

Yes, many are just two bit actors looking for fame. Updated On: 1/14/10 at 10:42 AM
I know the brunette BFF secretly HATES the blonde BFF (and probably did before the Idol auditions).
I also think now that Paula is gone, the tone of the judges is much nastier than it used to be..I felt a little bad for some of the contestants when the judges were basically laughing in their faces and mocking them. They seemed just a bit kinder when Paula was around.
Yeah, danmag - Mary J. blige had a party last night laughing hysterically at almost every single person. She rarely went all out liking any of them.
I never got the thing about her, anyway,
"I know the brunette BFF secretly HATES the blonde BFF (and probably did before the Idol auditions)."
I'm think she does too. There is alays a certain amount of competition between friends...especially teenage girls.

I agree danmag. Kara has been real tough with a bunch of the contestants, especially that performance artist in the Boston round on Tuesday night. Simon in comparison seems a lot nicer than usual. Perhaps it has to do with him not wanting to look too bad in front of the guest judges.
What's this about Elton John taking over after Simon leaves? Is that a rumor?
It's a rumor. TMZ says it is not happening. Seacrest has also been rumored to move himself into the Simon's seat.
So far I found 2 guys to root for. I liked that Tyler Grady dude, I liked the whole package and he could sing. and I liked the dude that they showed for about a minute his name was Benjamin Bright, he sang a beatles song. He had a really smooth voice. I liked him alot. I hope he goes far. He made it to hollywood so I will keep my fingers crossed. Not seeing much in the way of the women that I liked at all yet.
Come on, danmag.......I'd be LMAO at alot of those people too (and I'd get you LOL, too!). I honestly think most of those jokers just go on to get on the big screen, they can't possibly take themselves seriously! And if they do, they need a big fat serving of "Get Real". I really didn't see the judges being cruel to any borderline talents.
I'm finding all of this extremely tedious and unfunny. The show just isn't the same. Simon obviously knew it was going to be his last season and couldn't give a rat's ass about any of it. And Kara has to be one of the most irritating people on the planet. Randy is... well... he's Randy. Never really brought much to the table. The magic was in the chemistry that existed between Simon, Paula and Randy. That's gone. Can't wait for X Factor with Simon and Paula as judges. It'll become the new AI and, with any luck, AI will quickly fade into obscurity.
Luke Shaffer is a hottie. I really hope he makes the top 24 so I have some eye candy.
I really don't care too much about American Idol this season, but I will say "Pants on the Ground" was probably the best thing about the second night of auditions.
