I wasn't really blown away by anyone last night. I thought Shania gave useful critiques and feedback to the contestants. Kara and Randy could learn a thing or two from her.
I believe Cheno is guest judge tonight.
It will be interesting to see if Cheno can manage to keep it about the contestants instead of making it about her.
I think the Amazing Grace guy needs to step away from the meth pipe.
I love how Amazing Grace guy was actually better the second time. Not good by any means, but better.
She Kristin and Kara together made me think that Kara kinda looks like Idina (in a way)...and I'd love to hear Kara sing some "Wicked".
danmag, that guy was definitely on something.

The beatboxer that got through really rubbed me the wrong way for some reason.
I did not really care for the last guy with the troubled past whom Kara said would be top 12!

I'd rather listen to Sarah Palin talk than to listen to another beatboxer!

I really liked the guy who sang "Smile."
And I like that I'll be remembering him as the guy with the good voice who sang a really lovely rendition of a song. As opposed to facial deformity girl, broken home chick, Alzheimer's granddaughter, autism dad, Down's Syndrome sister, jailtime cowboy, etc. These sob stories need to stop. I know they like to create backstory, but this is pathetic! It's never been this bad before.
The sob stories are too much. It's like the pre-audition isnt singing but asking about what's sad in your life...and exploiting it.
Also, how does doing time for robbing a bank a sob story? "Boo hoo, Im a criminal"? I think he was mediocre at best...and was flabbergasted at the judges praise.

Because he wants to make his parents smile instead of making them cry!
The beatboxer going through was also a joke, but he was damn cute!

Those sisters look like rejects from "Jersey Shore"... or at best, Tiger Woods mistresses #16 & 17. Ease up on the tannng booth and make-up, girls!
I actually liked the jersey girls...but neither should've been put through to hwood.
Blue! "facial deformity girl...."
I'm literally LOL at that.
Another one who was just not good enough to go to hwood.

The only thing interesting about the psycho guy was that he went psycho; he wasn't a good singer or so bad that he was funny. So why would they pick him? Did they KNOW he would go nuts? I know you go through several auditions with producers/etc. before you ever get to the panel. How would he make it so far unless they knew he would do something that would make "good" TV. I know they manipulate things on the show, but that really felt like something totally set up.
blueroses, you crack me up and I couldn't agree more!
And if I understood correctly that BB gun robber said he was 25 and that he spent 4 birthdays behind bars, but then said he did this when he was 15........sooooo, he's still whining about it 6 years later?
