Considering the shows were thought up and produced by someone else, why give him the credit?
I have never heard ONCE that I should watch any of those shows on Bravo because he's on them.
Ever.

"And what exactly has he "MADE" Of Bravo?" A success. I enjoy my Bravo. A lot of people do.
And for those of you who don't want him...then KINDLY STEP ASIDE.

I have always found him adorable and sexy, but I find him irritating when he finds himself adorable and sexy.
An embittered former colleague of his once attributed his success at Bravo to having created the world's first art form utterly and entirely devoid of empathy.
But since that art form emerges from our narcissistic/voyeuristic culture and, in turn, helps define it, I would say that Andy's contribution to the world is shockingly influential, for better or worse.

How has he "made" Bravo?
Andy Cohen is Bravo's Executive Vice President of Development and Talent, a position he has held since November 2011. He is responsible for creating original content, developing innovative formats, and identifying new talent. He also serves as Executive Producer on Emmy and James Beard award-winning Top Chef and The Real Housewives franchises.
In addition, Cohen is the host and Executive Producer of Watch What Happens Live, Bravo’s late night, interactive talk show.
Cohen started at Bravo in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Original Programming & Development and was upped to Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Development in December, 2010. Since then he has overseen an aggressive slate of unscripted series and specials including hits such as the Peabody Award winning Project Runway, Emmy winning Top Chef, Queer Eye, Work Out, Being Bobby Brown, Top Design, Make Me a Supermodel, Blow Out, Kathy Griffin My Life On the D List, The A List Awards, The Millionaire Matchmaker, Million Dollar Listing, The Rachel Zoe Project, Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, Bethenny Ever After, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, Shahs of Sunset, Flipping Out, and The Real Housewives franchises.
It has little to do with what he has appeared on.

Physically? Very hot and very cute. And he genuinely seems like a nice guy. And fun.
Personally, however, for taking bravo from a true arts and culture station to what it is today, notwithstanding how successful it's made him and the network, what he represents is a big turn off.

He hath made it in his image.

Posted: 9/20/13 at 12:12pmA slight correction. To be fair if Andy only started at bravo in 2005, it had been going down hill in terms of quality programming and uphill in terms of giving the public what they want for a very long time by then.

Just take a group of 5-8 moderately attractive people, make sure they have plenty of money, are ridiculously self-absorbed, spoiled and are unable to relate to anyone not exactly like them and make sure they are utterly obsessed with fame and becoming celebrities. Prod them relentlessly to create petty rivalies that lead to frequent screaming matches and fights over things that 99% of us wouldn't be bothered by. Film and package into 42 minute episodes and you too can be hailed as a programming genius. I think his only regret is not discovering the Kardashians and Honey Boo Boo. If you are a fan of smart television, he is Satan. He's not responsible for the dumbing down of America but he's certainly exploited it for every single ad dollar possible. Thank God he hasn't f*cked up Top Chef though I'm sure it's on his list of things to do.
