Posted: 10/5/12 at 12:30amI have been following her career since her first feature film, CAMP. Just saw her interview on the Letterman Show. What an incredible talent. She is so young and already very accomplished. Get her on Broadway!

Fritzi 4ever!!!!!
She's also dating my favorite director, Edgar Wright, which makes her spot-on impression of him on the Scott Pilgrim commentary tracks extra endearing.

Posted: 10/5/12 at 6:39amI don't hate her, but something about her annoys me. I thought she was good in Up In The Air but haven't really cared for her in anything else.

I'm with you, taz. Something about her gets under my skin a little, and it might be because she keeps getting high-profile work and I find her completely mediocre. If she does something interesting with a performance, I'll totally re-evaluate, but she's consistently so broad and/or mannered that I don't understand the appeal.

Posted: 10/5/12 at 10:32amI absolutely fell in love with her in Up in the Air. Thought she gave an award-worthy performance. I'm not a fan of all her films, but I think she's pretty damn amazing when paired with a good director.

Sounds like Growl and Taz have a case of The Hunts.
The Hunts (noun) A condition involving an indefinable quality of irritation involving a well-liked, successful actress. Named after that insufferable wretch, Helen Hunt.

She is hit or miss for me too, but did love her in "Up in the Air". Farmiga's award nominations had me scratching my head, though.
I originally fell in love with her in "High Society". She and John McMartin were marvelous in a rather dull show.

Kendrick's performance is still, to this day, probably the best child-actor performance I've ever seen on stage.

Posted: 10/5/12 at 11:56amI'd agree, but alongside Daisy Eagan.

Posted: 10/5/12 at 12:49pmI adore her. I found her to be the only tolerable part of TWILIGHT (I only saw the first movie), and she was my pick for supporting actress in 2009, I thought her performance in UP IN THE AIR was a wonderful work of subtlety, vulnerability and on-spot comic timing. I hadn't been much interested in her movies until PITCH PERFECT, which I saw on Tuesday, she was amazing, so understated, so funny, and completely able to command her main scenes without pulling focus away from her co-starts in the hilarious and electrifying ensemble scenes--not to mention her awesome singing voice. She needs to play Cinderella in the INTO THE WOODS film. I also wonder if she's interested in coming back to Broadway.

Robbie, HA!
I know a regular on this board with a case of the Hunts for Ms. Hunt herself. Is that maybe where this joke began? I love it.
But honestly, I know so many people who get that way about certain actors/actresses, get themselves so riled up they actively boycott them or refuse to see movies they'd otherwise want to see just because those persons are in it.
I can't think of a single actor that I feel that way about, though. I'm always hoping actors I don't like will do something to turn my estimation of them around. Sandra Bullock, Zach Braff, Diablo Cody -- these people are, to me, the very definition of talentless, and yet I hope to see something someday that changes my mind.
Anna Kendrick's fame is more obnoxious than she actually is. Talent-wise, I'm mostly indifferent to her.

She'll be nominated for sure, but I don't think she'll win.
I'm assuming you're talking about The Session with John Hawkes, btw. Unless she's in another movie I'm not aware of.

I was so much more excited for "The Sessions" before I saw the trailer.
