Annoying Coworkers

Anybody have one?
Here at my office we have one lady in particular for whom NOTHING is ever satisfactory. Anything that doesn't directly benefit her is taken as a slight -or worse! - or an assault on her.
She complains constantly. She's whining and complaining right now.
What's worse, the company has a one year transfer policy, meaning you can transfer to other divisions/locations within the company but only after one year. She's only been here 6 months but she wants a transfer to a location close to her home. How we all wish they will bend the rules in this instance.

re: Annoying Coworkers

I work with Speedy Gonzales' slightly more annoying twin sister.

"Joo want someting?" "What joo need? I's bizzzzy!"

How this woman became an executive assistant is lightyears beyond my comprehension. I keep thinking she's about to walk over and say "Joo like I can git joo some cheeps and salsa?"

She's a RAGINGLY unpleasant person, she is extremely short and nasty to EVERYONE, and the entire floor hates her.

...and she has the VERY WORST permanent I have ever seen in my life.
Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you. Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

re: Annoying Coworkers

It's my last day at the office (Summer intern in an office building)

Seeing as how it's my last day, I feel bad singling out anyone I don't like, but I have one coworker who just irritates me. She is loud, vulgar, speaks inappropriately for an workplace...

I was about to type something general about why it bothered me. But I can just now hear (and I sh*t you not...) that she is loudly relating a story from her cube (4 foot walls) A story in which I have already picked out the following snatches:

"...pissed in his beer bottle. And I gave it to him. He drank it and I said, 'There. You know what it is like to be made a fool of'..."

"...and I invited them over. Took the whole coffee pot. Right in her face. The whole right side of her face- boils. You could hear her screaming all down the street. Her husband has a Bergen County cop. Didn't do sh*t."

"...I know. You want to mess with my family? I will not have any of my family taken away..."

What am I supposed to do with that? Thank God it's over by this afternoon.

YWIW, I have my Zen on all day (thank god for a universe of podcasts plus Yahoo Unlimited for new albums). She actually had the nerve to come over here, poke me, tell me I was ignoring her and that she was going to yank my buds out of my ear.
I nearly beat her with my stapler.
Such a hateful human being and she makes me hateful.

re: Annoying Coworkers

I once worked with this guy who would talk on his cell phone while using the toilet/urinal. And he never washed his hands afterward. I don't know if that counts as annoying, but it was a bit disturbing.

re: Annoying Coworkers

I find the following very annoying at my job:

1). People who are 10-15 minutes late for a scheduled meeting. It happens all the time and I seem to be the only one who shows up on time.

2). People who leave their cell phones unattended at their desk with the ringer turned up to high. The rest of us have to listen to their crappy ring tones and then the song stays in my head for hours.

3). People who use the speakerphone in a cubicle. It disturbs everyone around them, yet they don't seem to give a crap.

4). Idiots who talk on their cell phones while they sit on the toilet. Disgusting slobs.

added:

5). People who bring their reading material into the bathroom stalls and leave it scattered on the floor for others to navigate around.

re: Annoying Coworkers

Jim, as bad as this office is and as messy as the restroom sometimes gets, no one does that here, thank god. One guy at my first temp job in NYC used to leave the entire contents of the Times strewn about the stall. Every morning.

Bwaysinger, and probably from his perspective he was leaving it there just in case someone else wanted to read it!!! I worked with that type before.

Talking on the cellphone while sitting on the can just kills me. I'm like, WTF? You think the other person can tell where you are?

re: Annoying Coworkers

In my hubby's old office, there was this person from another company down the hall that used the mens room stalls, but didnt use the toilet...just the floor...I guess he was afraid to sit.

re: Annoying Coworkers

Everyone I work with at the theatre is either in their teens or early to mid twenties. Then there's this wiiiiiiiiide generation gap and there's me. I have to say that I like all these kids. They're sweet and helpful. The only thing I hate about the younger generation is that they don't think anything is wrong with sashaying in late, and they don't seem to think there's anything wrong with slacking off on the job. Otherwise, I'm happy there.

Dottie, I'd be all for that if the thing were in some kind of order and folded. It was STREWN all over the place, like a printing press blew up in the stall.

re: Annoying Coworkers

I always get psycho co-workers who decide that I am someone they need to compete with, or to make the object of their attempt at controversial debate on race topics and I'm only there to earn some $ on a project and want them to leave me the hell alone.

That's NYC. No class or manners whatever.

re: Annoying Coworkers

Luckily, no I don't have any annoying co-workers. I work at a library. We've had some pretty annoying patrons, though. I could give you stories about them...
