See, this is why I long for my cubicle days. They decided they wanted an "open" environment here and reorganized. Now we are all in one big, open room. I face my boss. It's good since I know where he is and can loaf...but dang. Give me at least the appearance of privacy.

...although I don't know if she "Got" a perm so much as "gave herself" a perm. It SCREAMS Ogilve.

Ha! Home perms make me think of Robert Reed, God rest his soul. My dad did rock the jewfro and giant red moustache back in the '70s, though.

I sat next to the female version of that on the train yesterday. She was a total crackwhore (literally), and though I've heard it described, I've never actually encountered the trademark smell of crack before, and it was TOTALLY crazy. It's very sharp and almost chlorine-y, but sickly sweet at the same time. It was revolting.

I wonder who this dashing friend of yours is, Undi? Is he single?

Talk about breath. I have a friend, close one, for 30 years, who has the breath of dog doo every single day. I have tried everything except saying it right out, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

I work in a kitchen at a winery with amazing people, exceot for the new guy. HE chats it up with everyone, but me. Which I find very rude. He also trys to tell me how to do my job, even though I have been doing it longer than he has.
Don't you hate people with that "I am so much better than you for no good reason" attitude?
I'm just glad I haven't seen the guy for a week, maybe he got fired....

my coworkers use the adjective "mad" every other word.

one time i was listening to deee-lite & a coworker heard & asked "whats that?" i told her & she wrinkled up her nose & said "...but...thats mad old!?!"

like, "why would you ever listen to something thats "old"...

....& as if the 90s were the 1790s!!!!!
