I'm not going to get on a soap box and judge anyone for what they do in the privacy of their own home because honestly it is none of my business.

The truth of the matter is that this guy sent these pictures to someone he CONFIDED in. He was SET UP and the pictures were distributed without his consent.

He was betrayed by someone he though he could trust, that's what I see wrong in this whole scenario not the fact that he sent her nude pics. I'm sure there are many more politicians REPUBLICANS as well as DEMOCRATS that have done this and we don't know about it because they weren't betrayed by the people they sent the pics to.

If he knew this person personally then it's a shame she felt the need to ruin his career by betraying him. If he just knew her as an online acquaintance he should have exercised better judgement in sending her those pictures.

Goth is like my brother. He wanted to talk about the Anthony Weiner scandal and the John Edwards scandal. I said fine but lets discuss political scandals in general. If we discuss them we are also going to discuss The Ensign scandal,Larry Craig,and others. He wouldn't stand for that.He would hide and say,'I don't know anything about those scandals therefore we can not discuss it.'

If anyone is going to bring up a political scandal be prepared to hear it from both parties OR SHUT THE F UP! Can't have it both ways. Can't discuss political scandals in US history and focus on Bill Clinton and expect Richard Nixon not to come up.

These people are unfair,ignorant,arrogant, and don't really want to discuss the issues in general. Instead they are using it as an excuse to gloat about their political enemies. I don't stand for that and I call them out. Goth wants to play the game where he makes up the rules and he always wins. The very fact that he has a LONG SERIES of these "Post and Run" threads just shows how childish and ignorant he really is.

But what I *do* find amusing is the GOP's insistence that we take these scandals seriously, while all of theirs -- like Vitter's -- can be atoned through "accepting Gawd in muh heart..."

I sometimes wonder what God thinks of that. Probably laughs His head off.
